TANYA IVANOVA graduated from the National Music School "Prof. Lyubomir Pipkov" and later from the National Academy of Music "Prof. Pancho Vladigerov" in Sofia.

   She began her professional career as a mezzo-soprano but later shifted to soprano range and quickly gained a solid repertoire of roles such as Tosca, Mimi (La Boheme), Cio-Cio-San (Madame Butterfly), Odabella (Attila), Elizabeth (Don Carlos), Lady Macbeth, Leonora (La Forza Del Destino)  and Verdi's Aida.

In 2013 she recorded arias by Giuseppe Verdi, Giacomo Puccini and Antonin Dvorak at the Bulgarian National Radio under the direction of Ivan Anguelov.

In February 2015 Tanya Ivanova made her debut on the stage of Sofia Opera and Ballet as Tosca. She has been a soloist of Opera Plovdiv since 2014/2015 season.
